Biography

Lady-Bug Radio: A Voice for People with Modified Capabilities Lady-Bug Radio is a movement founded by Ashley Symone Scott. It aims to empower and uplift people with physical and developmental challenges, whom Ashley refers to as those with "modified capabilities." Ashley's vision for Lady-Bug Radio grew from a desire she had as a teenager. Back then, she dreamed of a club where young people with similar challenges could connect, share experiences, and support each other. Ashley aspires to use Lady-Bug Radio to create a similar space, but on a larger scale. Finding Strength and Overcoming Challenges Ashley was born prematurely and has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Despite these obstacles, her faith and the encouragement of her family have always fueled her determination. Inspired by Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me," Ashley emphasizes that having modified capabilities doesn't mean one is incapable. It's about finding alternative ways to achieve goals. Taking the Show Online As Ashley delved deeper into the world of technology, she realized the internet's potential to connect with a wider audience. Lady-Bug Radio will take the form of an internet radio show, providing a platform for people with modified capabilities to share their stories and experiences.
